      Hi!
This is a very good question. To be honest I do not know how to answer it. I feel myself being the same passionate student about biology and science, just a bit older đŸ™‚

I guess I became a scientist when I started to follow my curiosity about everything surrounding me and trying to understand things that I didn’t know.
This was way before I even decided to study biology at the University: I guess I was in between 11 and 14 years old.

when I began to find joy in learning new things and working out how things work and how science could help people around the world. I did this when I did this when i was about your age. The fact you are taking part in things like this means you could be similar!

I ‘officially’ became a scientist when I started to study pharmaceutical chemistry and began to work in my field of interest.

It depends on what you think a scientist is i suppose đŸ˜€

I actually wanted to be a journalist for a long time, but I really loved biology in school so I decided to do science in college! I don’t think I properly became a scientist until I was about 19 and I started in environmental science, it turns out that was the part I really loved. I still feel like I’m working on get more scientisty because I learn something new every day.
