      Honeybees are not the only species of an insect capable of making honey, but they are the only one able to produce honey in significative quantities. Also, bumblebees and ants can make honey in a very little amount but the humans cannot collect it because too little.

      Honey cannot be made artificial, because it contains also particular active proteins that you can produce artificially. Instead, you can produce syrup artificially, but is not either close to be honey!
