• Question: How can jellyfish hunt their prey?

      Jellyfish eat baby fish and plankton. They sting their prey and the venom paralyzes the prey so that they can’t swim away. The jellyfish then moves its tentacles to create a small current which forces all of the prey into its mouth, which is located underneath the bell.
