So we live on a planet in a region far enough away from our star (the sun) to not be too hot but close enough to not be too cold for liquid water, this is called the goldilocks zone 🙂 we also have an atmosphere where we have oxygen that we need to breath. The other planets do not have liquid water, have really extreme temperatures or are not very suitable for life like venus where it rains sulphuric acid 🙂 there could be life in other solar systems but i think we are the only planet in this solar system with life 🙂

While they might be very far away from us, there probably is aliens out there! There’s an interesting theory called the “Fermi Paradox” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fermi_paradox) which is based on the fact that there area billion of stars like the sun in the galaxy, and they probably have planets like our planet! So there is probably life out there! The Fermi Paradox asks why the aliens haven’t contacted us yet, some people think they have but we don’t know it! 🙂
