I was about 10 years old and got a experiments book and a lab kit from Santa for Christmas. I entered a science fair in the local secondary school later that school year and had such fun doing my research and showing people how it worked. It was then that i fell in love with science and i knew it was for me!

I always had an interest in science from an early age but it was only in transition year that I decided to pursue a career in science. So, I was 16 or 17 years old.

I always liked nature, but it wasn’t until I was about 18 when I realised I could work with nature as a scientist 🙂
