Cows can contribute to global warming by burping methane, a greenhouse gas! They also can pollute rivers by pooping (sorry!) in the river, which can cause a harmful plant like algae to grow. Their pee also releases ammonia which contributes to air pollution

when cows digest their food they create a gas called methane, this is released through eh… passing gas, the amount can be reduced by changing the diet of to the cow… so for example scientists have found that cows eating seaweed produce far less methane đŸ™‚ As Karen said their poop and pee is also a problem. the poo can be used as fertilizer for the soil but if it gets into water cann cause this thing called algal bloom which reduces the amount of oxygen in the water.
